Let It Be Easy ~ Challenges
Here’s the question for today.
Have you ever been in a challenging situation and desired it be easy? Yes, I here ya in a sarcastic tone of voice and a touch of at-ti-tude saying…”no, seriously Jac when I’m in a challenging situation I say hey, here I am baby, pour it on…give me more stress and difficulties…it’s what I live for!” Of course not, but sometimes it feels like it’s never ending and one challenge leads to another.
When we are in these challenging situations, we can desire the outcome to be easy. We sometimes pull out the affirmations. We know affirmations are great and can have pleasant results if we are stating them in a positive frame of mind. However, when we discover ourselves in these challenging situations and we say “Let it be easy” it’s very possible it’s coming out “LET. IT. BE. EASY!”
So that we are on the same page here, let’s create a clear picture of what this might look like; clinched teeth, tight facial muscles that project what was once two eye brows have now magically formed the famous uni-brow with a large center crease the size of the Grand Canyon. Now, add curled fingers that form fists that become tighter as the minutes pass by, and let’s not forget about the huge negative overtones, and hey, we might as well throw in a pair of stomping feet while we’re on a roll here (visualize a two year old throwing a temper tantrum). Hmmm, not a pretty picture now is it?
There is power in this method; the power is creating a boat load of additional negative energy and a continuous string of more challenges being brought to us easily, causing the weight of the negativity to drown us in our own self created misery. Not sounding like a very productive plan unless you’re auditioning for the “Tantrums Gone Wild” contest.
However, when we sing “Let It Be Easy” in an upbeat joyous melody, we automatically begin to feel better raising our level of joy and decreasing our level of stress and negativity. Now we are creating more positive energy. Our facial expression is more at ease, muscles begin to relax and now it’s possible that our hands, instead of being ready to punch someone or something, are now being used as a musical instrument snapping our fingers or clapping our hands. You know that feeling of movin’ and grovin’ when you hear your favorite be-boppin song, your body starts swaying, your head is bobbing along, and your shoulders loosen up. Ahhh yes, kinda like instant therapy for your heart and soul. See, you’re feeling better already just by reading about. Imagine what you’ll experience when you actually sing “Let It Be Easy”.
The choice is yours. Do you choose more stress is best? Or shall you choose to “Let It Be Easy?

I choose to Let It Be Easy! Honestly, since I've heard you talk about this, I've started saying it when encountered with a situation I don't want. But I haven't had to say it often and things have really been EASY for me lately and I thank you for urging us to repeat those words! Excellent post by the way :-)
